Hello, my name is Annie, and welcome to my little corner of the internet.
I was born and bred in Taiwan, although I’ve lived the majority of my life in the United States. After living in California, Indiana, and Illinois, I am currently located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I started this blog in 2014 when I was attending graduate school in my early 20s and I got into cooking and baking as a survival tactic for braving the Midwest winter. I wanted to chronicle my trials and errors in the kitchen. Over the years, “adulting” happened, I moved several times to various parts of the country, got married, bought two houses, and went back to school (again). Today, I write about whatever I find wonderful, like food, home renovation, DIY, travel, and everyday life.
Offline, I am a pianist, teacher, and music education consultant. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and hanging out with my husband, dog & cat.
